Destiny: The Taken King expansion announced, releasing September

As expected, Bungie's new expansion for Destiny — The Taken King — was announced tonight during Sony's E3 2015 press conference.

A trailer providing a brief overview of the new expansion was shown alongside the announcement. It confirmed much of what was already leaked — new Supers for each of the three classes, new gear, a new multiplayer map, and a plot that involves going up against Orix, Crota's father who is looking for revenge.

Destiny's The Taken King is set for release on September 15, 2015.
