Destiny: The Taken King introduces Exotic Blueprints

During today's preview of things to come in Destiny Year Two, Bungie revealed a brand new feature that will essentially remove gear grind for alt characters. Coming with The Taken King are Exotic Blueprints, or a collection of exotic weapons and armor (that you've already found) that can be constructed in the event you accidently shard it or need it for an alt character.

As explained by Bungie on today's stream, any time you find an exotic item, the blueprint will be added to the collection. Should you ever lose that item or need it for another character, you can simply recreate it using the blueprint and some required materials.

Exotic blueprints are account wide, meaning all of your characters will share them and have the ability to create them. In addition to Year Two items being available as blueprints, certain Year One exotics that Bungie has decided to improve upon will also be available in your collection, so you won't need to grind for the Year Two version of older items.
