Destiny: The Taken King VIP Rewards revealed

You'd think all of the details Bungie shared for Destiny Year Two yesterday, the developer would take a break. Not so much. In today's weekly update, Bungie outlined the VIP rewards players will receive with The Taken King if they already own both of Destiny's expansions — House of Wolves and The Dark Below — or reach Light Level 30 before August 31, 2015.

Anyone who meets these requirements and purchases and plays The Taken King on or before February 1, 2016 will receive the Destiny: Founder's Fortune Pack. Rewards include: a Brave Ghost Shell, Be Brave Emblem, Old Guard Shader, and the S-34 Ravensteel Sparrow. You can see them all in the preview above.

"The Guardians from Destiny Year One are not just players. You are the founders of a new and vibrant community," Bungie wrote. "To us, you’re VIPs. When the new kids stroll into the Tower, they’ll know who you are. You’ll be the shadowy figures clad in the stripes of a Tiger."

VIP Rewards are applicable for any eligible purchase of Destiny: The Taken King, Destiny: The Taken King – Legendary Edition, and Destiny: The Taken King – Collector’s Edition (digital or physical). The actual Taken King expansion releases on September 15 for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.
