Bungie made it clear that the cancelled the Iron Banner event would not be making a return this week, but it appears as though it will be coming back next week. Additionally, the cancelled Trials of Osiris is coming back, but not next week.
If everything goes as planned, Bungie might be bringing back Trials of Osiris tomorrow, however, Bungie has noted that the fix might not be what they imagine it to be. Something can always go wrong, so they will make an official announcement ahead of the Trials of Osiris launch.
As far as the Iron Banner goes, the team already made it clear that they didn't want to bring the Iron Banner back for a limited time. Instead, Lord Saladin might be making an appearance in the Tower next week, which would put the Iron Banner's return next week.
It should be made clear that Bungie spoke of the two events with a lot of terms that showed that they weren't certain about the return of Trials of Osiris and the Iron Banner.
