Destiny Update 2.0 expected to arrive ahead of The Taken King in September

Earlier this week, Bungie gave Destiny players an early look at some of the massive changes coming with update 2.0.

As part of the "largest update to the Destiny Player experience to date," Bungie is making tons of balancing changes to the game's weapons — including Thorn, Gjallarhorn, and, well, just about every weapon. While we've already provided you with a breakdown of the comprehensive list of weapon changes, many of you probably want to know one thing — when will all of this take place?

According to Bungie's weekly post, Destiny Update 2.0 "should arrive in September, just before the arrival of The Taken King."

In addition to these weapon changes, The Taken King expansion is also overhauling Destiny's quest system, increasing the number of Bounties players can carry, enabling quest tracking int he HUD, and allowing players to turn in completed bounties from the Quests screen without having to return to the Tower.

Yes, sir, big changes are coming to Destiny, and with over a month until the expansion's release, I'm sure we'll hear about tons of changes and new additions coming in September.
