It's that time of the week again, Destiny's servers have been reset and that means it's time for new strikes, a new rotation in the Prison of Elders arena, and new inventory for Variks.
The Heroic Strike this week is The Summoning Pits on Ocean of Storms, Moon with the Heroic (enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive) and Small Arms (Primary Weapon damage is favored) modifiers.
Rewards for defeating the Heroic Strikes are 9 Strange Coin, 10 Vanguard Marks and 400 Vanguard Reputation.
The Nightfall Strike is The Shadow Theif on Oceans of Storms, Moon with the following Modifiers:

Epic
- Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.

Nightfall
- If all players die, your Fireteam is returned to Orbit.

Void Burn
- Void Damage from any source is greatly increased.

Solar Burn
- Solar Damage from any source is greatly increased.

Grounded
- Players take more damage while airborne.
The guaranteed reward for this is the Radiant Light Buff that increase all XP gains until the next weekly reset, with a number of possible rewards: Etheric Light, Exotic Weapons, Exotic Armor, Legendary Weapons, Strange Coins.
The vendors from House of Wolves also update their inventory. Variks is now carrying the Chain of Orbiks-Fel (Heavy Machine Gun, Void Burn Modifier, and Shank Burn Special Perk) along with Kellhunter's Path (Leg Armor, +152 Strength, Carry More Heavy Ammo Special Perk and Hive Stalker Special Perk).

Prison of Elders Level 32: Machine Wrath
The Reef, Asteroid Belt Archon Servants have raised their own corrupted Servitor-god, Kaliks Reborn. Defeat it and be rewarded.

Prison of Elders Level 35: Skolas's Revenge
The Reef, Asteroid Belt Skolas and his crew challenge the Guardians who captured him. Face him with a Fireteam of three. End him.
