Destiny: Xur, Agent of the Nine, Tower location and Exotic gear (8/21/15)

Destiny’s ever-fickle Exotic merchant is back once again, which is actually somewhat impressive given the act he has to follow. Xur sold Destiny’s infamous Gjallarhorn just last weekend, leaving the Destiny community in a civil war, albeit one with disproportionate armies.

As a chaser, Xur is now selling Thunderlord, an almost equally rare Exotic heavy weapon. You can find him in the Tower, to the right side of the Vanguard hall. Just head straight from where you spawn in; can’t miss him. His entire selection of gear, available through 5 a.m. Sunday, August 23, is as follows:

As we learned in a recent Taken King exposé, some Exotic gear will be available in “year two” versions following the DLC’s release next month. A veritable Exotic library, which tracks the Exotic blueprints you have collected across all your characters, will also be added. This library can be used to upgrade and monitor your collection.
