Deus Ex: Mankind Divided coming ‘early 2016’

A franchise about the evolution of humanity, evolves on its own ideas early next year.

Square Enix finally rolled back the curtains on the gameplay for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided with a worldwide reveal of gameplay footage on Day One of E3 2015.  Running on a brand new engine called the Dawn Engine, Mankind Divided picks up two years after Human Revolution left off. Adam Jensen has left his old job at Sarif Industries, working now as a double agent for an organization he believes was created by the shadowy Illuminati.

Augmented humans have been demonized by society and in response, the government has created a world of "mechanical apartheid", as Square Enix describes it. Augments are being forced to live in ghettos under frequent surveillance and abuse from the authorities, often resulting in genocide.

The new trailer shows off a world fighting for change in idealism, slick gunplay, a new UI interface for changing weapon abilities on the fly, new projectile blades, augmented abilities and of course lots of explosions.  Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be releasing in early 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
