We've known since June that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would be releasing in early 2016, but today we got official confirmation of a release date as well as custom pre-order bonuses.
Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have announced that the game will release in February 2016 and include a multiple tiered pre-order bonus load out. All you need to do is pre-order the game at any retailer then choose your rewards you want on Deus Ex's pre-order page. You will have the option to choose from in game DLC, digital comic books and even physical merchandise. As the amount of pre-orders go up, the more rewards tiers are unlocked until you reach the "ultimate prize" in Tier 5.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents. The year is now 2029, and the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society.
The release date is confirmed as February 23rd, 2016 and it will release on both PS4 and Xbox One. What are your thoughts on this customized pre-order bonuses? Let us know
