Devil May Cry HD Collection will not support 4K graphics says Capcom

After being announced just one week ago, the upcoming re-release of the Devil May Cry HD Collection appears to have hit a slight PR snag. Capcom recently told US Gamer that the updated collection would not support 4K graphics on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, or PC, and there are no plans to do so in the future at this time. The game will instead run at 1080p and 60 FPS.

Still, it is an upgrade over the Devil May Cry collection that released back in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. That collection ran at 720p and 60 FPS, but given that we are talking about games from two console generations ago, not having 4K shouldn't be too big of a letdown.

Devil May Cry HD Collection will release on March 13, 2018, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
