So far, Blizzard hasn't really given any sort of indication when the new, highly anticipated patch 2.3.0 for Diablo 3 will hit. However, in their latest post detailing the new sets that were just added to the PTR on PC, scrolling down through the comments, we can finally get a good idea of when the patch will be officially available.
User browens asked about the patches release date:
when is the patch scheduled to come out and does the progress we do in the PTR copy over when the patch is applied?
To which a Blizzard moderator replied with:
@browens: We have not announced an official date for patch 2.3.0,. but it will be after Season 3 ends on Aug 25, and before Season 4 starts on Aug 28. Also, PTR progress will not be saved, or transferred to the live game.
So there you have it, making it either the Wednesday, August 26th, or Thursday, August 27th. That means we have less than two weeks of hoarding all our Legendaries until we can finally feed them to Kanai's Cube and make all those awesome passives ours! ALL OURS!
Patch 2.3.0 is said to come out simultaneously on PC and consoles, meaning players across all devices will have access to all new features at the same time.
