Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls trailer shows Adventure mode and Nephalem Rifts

Blizzard Entertainment has released a new trailer for Reaper of Souls, the first expansion to Diablo 3 that's coming next year for PC, Mac, and PlayStation 4.

Shown in the video is the Adventure mode, which enables players to accept and collect bounties across the land. And the Nephalim Rifts are challenges where players must hold their ground against enemies until a boss guardian appears.

Blizzard is also unlocking all waypoints and adding clans and groups, a new Artisan town NPC called the Mystic that can replace enchantments, and introducing transmogrification so you can keep your cool appearance even when you switch gear.

Reaper of Souls also updates the Paragon system, raises the level cap, and delivers the new Crusader class — all part of the new Act V and the more robust endgame.

Diablo 3 is out now for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
