Diablo 3’s Rise of the Necromancer pack launches next week

Blizzard Entertainment has finally slapped a release date on its upcoming Rise of the Necromancer DLC, and it's sooner than you might think. Exactly one week from today, Diablo 3 players will be able to strap in and get their hands on the highly anticipated Necromancer class alongside some additional in-game items. Earlier today, Blizzard released a new trailer breaking down everything you'll get in the Rise of the Necromancer DLC.

Here's the trailer:

It goes without saying that the two additional Stash Tabs are not applicable to console players, but other than that, the content is the same.

It's also worth mentioning that Blizzard has revealed a few more concrete details on the previously announced Eternal Collection for Xbox One and PS4. Diablo III: The Eternal Collection will be a digital-only release that packages the base game with both the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer DLC and will initially retail at a special introductory price of $39.99.

That said, if you already own Diablo 3, you will be able to pick up Rise of the Necromancer on June 27th, 2017 for $14.99.
