This year, DICE hosted its second Indie Game Challenge, and the two winning titles were Limbo and Inertia!, the former being available for Xbox Live Arcade and the latter falling under the Xbox Live Indies download shop.
Both titles received some hefty prize money, but the most prestige has to come with the awards themselves as both of these games impressed gamers and critics upon their releases. Limbo received the prize for best professional game, and it took home an additional prize for best art direction. Inertia! won for being the best non-professional indie game, and it received awards for gameplay, technical specs, and gamer’s choice.
Congratulations are in order for both Limbo and Inertia! for delivering the memorable gameplay experiences they did and winning DICE’s second annual Indie Game Challenge.
