With news that the second half of The Walking Dead season 6 left star Andrew Lincoln (Rick) feeling "sick," fans are anxiously awaiting the show's return on Sunday. Of course, there's some apprehension as well, as we already know one of the series' most notorious villains — Negan — will be making his grand debut.
While comic readers may already know what Negan potentially means for the fate of one particular fan-favorite character on the show, an online ad from Fox Russia has possibly revealed the grim fate of another character.
Note: Though The Walking Dead is an AMC show, it is licensed out to Fox in many international regions.

The ad reveals Rick's son, Carl, with his right eye bandaged up. The image is reminscent of an iconic moment in the comics where Car gets his eye (and basically half of his head) shot off in an accident involving Alexandria Safe Zone leader Douglas Monroe (who was gender-swapped int he show to Deanna Monroe).
If you've seen the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead Season 6, you probably already realize the show has diverged a bit from the comic, but the idea that Carl could get his eye shot out is still very much alive with the threat of jessie's son, Ron, literally gunning for Carl.
Then again, I imagine being shot in the eye would result in more damage than just a simple bandage could cover. In any case, it looks like something bad will happen to Carl in the coming episodes. And again, with Negan, maybe something even worse for another character.
