While Moonraker and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service have already been revealed as movie-based missions in 007 Legends, Activision has announced two new additions for this future Bond game. Both Die Another Day and License to Kill have been announced to join the ranks.
Similar to the movie, in Die Another Day, Bond must chase down Gustav Graves – the diamond mogul. Dealing with North Korean terrorist and spies along the way is a given. Will Bond be able to stop the Icarus weapon in time to prevent a war from North and South Korea?
In License to Kill, Bond enlists to aid U.S. Drug Enforcement to take down a Mexican drug overlord with terrorist connections. After blowing up the complex will Bond be able to capture Sanchez before he escapes? Let’s not forget the classic tanker truck fight.
David G. Wilson, VP of Global Business Strategy, EON said, "The method of picking which James Bond movies to include in 007 Legends was a deep and thoughtful process between Eurocom, Activision, EON and Danjaq. We took great care in selecting movies that helped define who Bond has become over the years, and ones that could be tied together in a compelling way to pay homage to 50 years of 007."
