There was plenty of action during the Super Bowl between the Eagles and Patriots and plenty of fun commercials sandwiched between gameplay. Commercials aren’t everybody’s thing and neither are sports. Luckily, if you’re into movies the Super Bowl had something for you too!
Trailers and teasers for upcoming movies dropped during the big game last night and you can find links to them below!
Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Infinity War didn’t get a trailer, it got a teaser. While we only got a limited look at the movie, we did get to see Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Strange and more heroes in the same room that wouldn’t likely be together.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4th, 2018.
Solo: A Star Wars Story
The first full-length teaser for Han Solo’s spin-off movie! The trailer shows off Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Emilia Clarke as Kira, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, and Chewbacca.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit theaters May 25.
Mission: Impossible Fallout
The first trailer for Mission: Impossible Fallout was revealed and it turns out that they kept the scene where Tom Cruise wrecked his ankle! The film follows Ethan Hunt as he attempts to right the wrongs of a botched mission.
The film features Superman (Henry Cavill) with a mustache, yes, the same mustache that impacted Justice League.
Mission: Impossible Fallout is set to release on July 27th, 2018.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
The second trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom dropped during the Super Bowl and it’s got everything you’d expect. There are dinosaurs, screams, guns, and the tease of some kind of created mega-dinosaurs.
There’s even a child-stealing raptor in the trailer.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom releases on June 22nd, 2017.
Skyscraper
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is back as a military type character in Skyscraper. This time, Johnson is a former FBI Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran who must save his family from a skyscraper that’s on fire, as well as clear his name from being blamed for the fire.
Skyscraper is set to release on July 13th, 2018.
The Cloverfield Paradox
Cloverfield 3 skipped the theaters and headed straight to Netflix, for better or for worse. Generally, the movie is fun to watch, but it’s held back by some of the choices in direction. We watched it, so you can go in knowing what to expect. You can catch the no reviews spoiler here.
Cloverfield Paradox is on Netflix now.
Westworld Season 2
HBO purchased their first ad spot in 20 years during the Super Bowl for Westworld 2. It should be noted that not all of the scenes seen in the trailer will be featured in the show when it airs on April 22nd, 20, 8 at 9pm on HBO.
