DirecTV and Viacom call a cease fire, all channels returned

People were mad.  As in, people were NOT happy about this whole Viacom pulling their channels from DirecTV debacle.  After a week of back and forth deal making and rage, some form of deal was made.  As of now the channels are returning but negotiations are far from over.

It’s hard to say who’s getting the better deal now since we don’t have any numbers to compare or obsess over.  Both sides are holding true to their demands so they could still be at this for a while.  What’s important to know as a consumer, is right now Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, BET, CMT, Logo, Spike, TV Land, MTV2, VH1, VH1 Classic, Palladia, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, TeenNick, Tr3s and Centric are back on your DirectTV.

Viacom is extremely pleased to bring its programming back to DIRECTV subscribers, and thanks everyone affected by the disruption for their patience and understanding during this challenging period.

Once either side is ready to talk about their little fight then we will have some more answers.  Until then, enjoy your old shows savages.
