Disgaea 5 announced at Anime Expo

At Anime Expo this past weekend, developer Nippon Ichi revealed that Disgaea 5 is in the works.

Company president and series producer Souhei Niikawa announced the game during a Q&A session, so confirmation is all we have for the moment. Niikawa asked fans to wait awhile for details.

The tactical role-playing game Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten came out last year in September. Members of the team are currently working on the RPG The Witch and the Hundred Knights, due out for PS3 in 2013.
