Disgaea devs bringing new game to PS Vita, htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary

The developers that brought us the Disgaea series are bringing us something new to fall in love with, this time on the Vita.

htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary is a platformer that brings us in December 31, 9999 to tell the tale of an amnesiac girl named Mion. Year 9999 isn't a forgiving year, Mion is faced with ruins filled with enemies and bodies of the dead.

In The Firefly Diary you actually don't control Mion, you control two fireflies (one at a time). You move between two worlds, the World of Light and the World of Shadow – one firefly is allotted to each world. The fireflies guide Mion through the world, moving objects to destroy enemies (as Mion is unable to attack enemies) and help her collect memory fragments to reveal Mion's past. You will be able to switch between the worlds at will.

The Firefly Diary is set to release February 24, 2015, you can check out purchasing options at NIS America here. There's both a standard and limited edition, the limited edition comes with a couple more items for only $10 more.
