Hot off the success of Bloodborne, the PlayStation 4 exclusive that has taken the gaming world by storm, FromSoftware and Disney have announced a collaboration on a "brand-new Star Wars experience like never before."
That experience is called Darth Souls. It's not clear if you'll play as Vader or another Sith, but the thought of this game has me salivating.
It seems like the game has been in the very early stages of development since a couple of months after Disney acquired Star Wars from George Lucas. The concept has been worked out, and while neither FromSoftware or Disney is ready to share concept art, they assure fans that they'll see what makes the Dark Side so dark.
According to the official description from the press release:
Darth Souls will have the players vanquishing the enemies of the Dark Side, as they consume their Midi-chlorians in order to strengthen their powers in many, meaningful ways. Souls fans will appreciate the strategy and depth in Lightstaber combat, as well as a relentless difficulty that past games are known for.
There is no current estimated release date for Darth Souls, but it will be coming out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo NX.
