Coming off its failed venture with Junction Point and the Epic Mickey series, Disney Interactive appears to be moving more in the mobile game direction. In a vague post, Disney's Director of Communications Brian Nelson teased an upcoming mobile game seemingly based on the iconic Toy Story franchise.
A photo of Toy Story's space ranger Buzz Lightyear partaking in some sort of minigame was posted along with the headline: "Buzz Lightyear to Star Command: There’s a new mobile game launching soon."
Personally, I'm more of a Sheriff Woody kind of guy, but I'm always down for a good Toy Story game. It's easily one of Pixar's greatest franchises. Unfortunately, it's unclear at this point what type of game this will be exactly. Will it be strictly Toy Story themed? Will it consist of mini-games only? Is Buzz the start of the game? There are plenty of questions and we'll be sure to let you know if we hear anything more.
