Disney not a fan of Amy Schumer’s ‘inappropriate’ Star Wars Slave Leia shoot

This was not the photoshoot Disney was looking for.

Actress and comedian Amy Schumer got together with R2D2, C3PO, and Chewbacca as Slave Leia in a photo shoot for the August issue of GQ. When the images from the photoshoot were revealed, they turned out to be a bit racy – not really a surprise considering Schumer's humor falls on the raunchy side.

The pictures had Schumer showing some robot love sucking on C3PO's rusty finger, deepthroating a lightsaber, and teasing R2D2's "button" in a threesome with the two droids. When we posted the images, we were already gearing up for the complaints that would be surrounding it.

Fans took to Twitter and Facebook calling the photoshoot 'distasteful,' 'lame,' and 'gross.' Lucasfilm has spoken up on the subject of the photoshoot, saying "Lucasfilm & Disney didn't approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner." While GQ didn't consult Disney on the photoshoot there can be no legal recourse from Disney for the shoot, it falls under fair use as it is a parody and not malicious.
