Fans in attendance at this year's San Diego Comic-Con will be treated to a "special look" at Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney and Lucasfilm announced today.
While no specifics were mentioned, the company did promise "exclusive" Star Wars: The Force Awakens products, as well as an appearance by Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan, and "special guests."
Disney published a schedule of their SDCC plans. It looks like the special look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens will take place on Friday, July 10, in Hall H. No time was mentioned, so looks like you'll be hanging out there all day. Don't worry, there's plenty of other Star Wars festivities to keep you busy throughout the day.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the latest installment in the core Star Wars franchise, was properly revealed earlier this year at Star Wars Celebration. Since then, we've learned more about the highly anticipated film, but are still left with plenty of questions. With the Force Awakens' theatrical debut now less than half-a-year away, we should begin to hear more official news regarding the eagerly awaited film.
