Dissidia 012 to Come Stateside in 011

Square Enix has formally announced that the highly-anticipated sequel to Dissidia: Final Fantasy will be released in America sometime in 2011. Debuting at the Tokyo Game Show last week, the upcoming action-RPG/fighting game will feature new characters, including Final Fantasy XIII’s Lightning and Final Fantasy IV’s Kain.

Other new features include the use of an Assist feature that lets players enlist characters to back them up in combat, similar to Marvel Vs. Capcom’s Strike feature, and will also contain a complete storyline for the Chaos side that will certainly add to the game’s replay value.
