Ditch your imagination, human-shaped pillows are now a thing for all your VR needs

Never VR alone.

We have seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens Poe Dameron body pillows that you can snuggle up with and anime crotch pillows, but those are old news now. A Japanese company has resurrected their human-shaped pillows with one thing in mind… Virtual reality.

Bibi Lab first revealed their "cotton wife" and "cotton husband" back in 2014, but only came with orange or white 'skins.' A year later, in 2015, the company updated their cotton human-pillows to feature things that looked more like human muscle and subcutaneous fat. Now, the human-pillows have been updated once more, this time to be extra friendly to VR users.

The new version of the "cotton wife" and "cotton husband" feature skin-coloured skinsuits that add a smooth and soft touch to the pillows and use a higher amount of higher quality cotton. In addition to that, the male and female versions are said to look and feel more realistic than ever before.

Bibi Lab claims that these pillows are the perfect companions for VR games. While Bibi Labs didn't specify which VR games the pillows would add depth to, they probably meant Summer Lesson (gameplay seen below) which features a school girl… Just like their advertisement image.

The Cotton Wife measures in at about 4 foot 5 inches in height, while the Cotton Husband is around 5 foot 3 inches tall. The himan-shaped pillows aren't exactly cheap, ringing in an $93.63 plus tax.
