Larian Studios has officially pulled back the curtain on their final character race, the Undead, for Divinity: Original Sin 2 after teasing it in a trailer they released earlier this week. A new character class being added to the game may not seem like much on the surface, but in the game's latest Kickstarter video, it can change many of the game's standard rules and is recommended for experienced players.
The Undead character is not an official race, as it functions more as an alternative to the races that exist in the game. That means you can still be a Human, Dwarf, or Lizard; you're just a walking pile of bones rather than skin and flesh. Characters in the game world will also react to you differently, often running away in horror, but your character can steal an NPC's face and use it as a disguise. Covering your face and chest with armor will also hide your real identity, so you have options.
The other big news is that Larian has revealed and detailed its $169 Collector's Edition and it is as follows:
You can also check out the unboxing of the Collector's Edition in the Kickstarter video above, but suffice it to say; it is impressive.
