The Division's latest update, 1.2: Conflict, released yesterday, bringing a number of new items and changes. Unfortunately, amongst these problems are a number of issues that seem to rear their head every chance they get.
Players are once again encountering the missing character bug, as well as the missing Daily Missions. Players on both Reddit and Ubisoft's forums have reported missing characters and Ubisoft announced the Daily Missions bug themselves, both issues are under investigation.
These problems have occurred before, after the last major content update in The Division. The missing characters were returned to players after investigations, but at a price. The price was a loss of progress from the point after the update to the date the fix came – however – this only applied to players that were suffering from missing characters.
In addition to these two problems, players are reporting that the rooftop on E2 21st St. and 3rd Ave us bugged. Apparently, NPCs are able to shoot through walls during an HVT mission.
