Doctor Who fans rally as Minecraft Tardis comes to life

BBC's Doctor Who series has grown immensely since it returned to our screens in 2005, but never in our wildest dreams did we expect a fully functional Tardis to land on Minecraft.

Reddit user ShaneH7674 was the one to bring this whole thing to life. Using a whole lot of video editing and probably the use of a few replica sonic screwdrivers – simply because they're cool to have – gamers can now travel the realms of time and space on Mojang's sandbox title.

ShaneH7674 has updated the Tardis design a few times and as fans of the series will be aware, the Tardis may be subject to change when the Doctor regenerates, and this redditor had all bases covered in that respect.

There are a number of different Tardis versions available and if you would like to read more about this downloadable Minecraft world, you can do so by clicking here.
