Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock set for Tuesday release on PS Vita

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, the upcoming action/adventure game based on the BBC television series, will be releasing on Tuesday, October 9th for the PlayStation Vita. It will be available on October 10 in Europe.

The PS Vita version will have "several new features" that take advantage of the Vita's controls. One such feature is the ability to utilize the combination of dual analog stick controls the Vita's touch screen features, enabling you to switch between traditional controls and tapping the screen to affect the action. All of the puzzle games have also been reworked to make full use of touchscreen controls.

The game will also use the Vita's geo-social service, near, to let you collect "Gallifreyan" medals while playing through the adventure and then dropping them in a GPS location for other players to collect. Additionally, it will support the Vita's Cloud Save option for those of you who own Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock on the PS3 as well. Through the "Continuation Play" you can save your game on one device and load it up on the other.
