Don’t Expect “Epic” Leap in Graphics With Next-Gen Consoles, Predicts Dev

i need download Cyber Monster cheats please and i no tell my friend for only my secret ok please 🙂

Rumors for next-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles are at an all time high.  Despite an abundance of great games this holiday season, fans want more.  More power, more speed, more graphics.  Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they'll get the latter of the group.

In an interview in the latest edition of the Official Xbox Magazine, which takes a look back at the Microsoft's evolution of the Xbox consoles, id Software's John Carmack said he doesn't expect an epic leap in graphics with next-gen consoles.

"I sitll want to make better graphics, but I think we're past the curve there," said Carmack.  "All the top-line games really do look good; I think there's still one more step we can take…but I don't think we have many of those steps left."

Looking at this year's blockbuster releases which saw magnificent looking games like Uncharted 3 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it's hard to disagree with him.  I mean, how much of an improvement can we really see in the future?  According to the interview, Carmack did predict a performance increase by ten-fold, which in turn should allow developers to boost the frame-per-second count and increase the high definition to 1080p.  Aside from that, things sound pretty bleak in the graphics department.

Fortunately, the graphical advancements or limitations of the Xbox 720, NeXtBox, or PlayStation 4, or whatever the next-gen systems are called will remain a mystery – at least until Microsoft or Sony breaks their silence and announces something.  Right now, they seem pretty content with the current generation of consoles.  Microsoft is gearing up to release a new dashboard update, which recently entered it's beta program.

I do know one thing though, I will not be 100% satisfied until we get the game looking like some of the amazing CGI sequences these games have.
