The third installment of the Mass Effect series, from developer BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts, came out today for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. When you finish the game, or if you're just hungry for more content, you can check out the new art book from comic book publisher Dark Horse.
The Art of the Mass Effect Universe contains concept art and commentary on the characters, locations, vehicles, weapons, and other features of Mass Effect 3. The 184-page hardcover is already on sale.
Come April 4, you can also purchase the third volume, Invasion, of the Mass Effect comic book series from the publisher. Mac Walters, lead writer for Mass Effect 2 and 3, co-wrote the story with John Jackson Miller. Artist Omar Francia provides pencils, with Michael Atiyeh working on colors.
The Omega space station is the center of lawlessness in the galaxy, a den of vice ruled by the deadly asari Aria. It is also a strategic foothold in a galaxy-wide power struggle, and when the station comes under attack from a new threat unleashed by the humanity-first organization Cerberus, Aria is forced to become more ruthless than ever to protect her home–and her dominion!
Sounds like a good season for Mass Effect fans.
