Don’t forget to reserve your Guild Wars 2 character name

With the final Guild Wars 2 beta weekend wrapped up, ArenaNet has issued a reminder for players to reserve their character names.

The deadline for name reservations is July 31, but all you need to do is log into your existing Guild Wars account. On the 31st, ArenaNet will be building the Guild Wars 2 name reservation list from active Guild Wars accounts only.

With that being said, the names will not be held indefinitely. ArenaNet notes that you must create a Guild Wars 2 character with the same name as your Guild Wars character during the Headstart Access period or on launch day.

They will be freeing all unclaimed names for new Guild Wars 2 players shortly after launch.

Now that everything's all cleared up, what were your impressions on the final Guild Wars 2 beta weekend?
