Don’t fret, you can still pre-order your Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at Walmart

Chances are, if you weren't sure which console to side with until very recently, you already missed out on your chance to pre-order a next-gen console from places like Gamestop. Until now!

Walmart swoops in to save the day and will be allowing consumers to pre-order either the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 starting August 24th.

  • Provide a 10 percent down payment – $40 for PS4 and $50 for Xbox One.
  • Make payments over time or in full when the console becomes available.
  • Pick up the console on the launch date. Walmart will hold pre-ordered consoles for customers wanting more time to pay it off until December 13, 2013.

Along with the consoles, you'll be able to reserve any extra accessories as well as games like Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Knack or Drive Club.
