Change a thing, no matter how little, and the internet will sniff it out. That seriously needs to be a rule of life or something. Dontnod has updated the release window for their upcoming supernatural Action-RPG, Vampyr. According to the game's section on publisher Focus Home Interactive's website, Vampyr will be releasing in Q4 2017. It's not much to go on, but up until now, it had only been said that the game would come out at some point this year.
For those who don't know, Q4 2017 is the final quarter of the release calendar, meaning the months of September, October, November, and December. This time frame is easily the busiest time of the year when major players like EA and Ubisoft usually release their best stuff. It's interesting then that Focus Home and Dontnod are choosing such a busy time frame to release the game.
Hopefully, it means good things are ahead for the promising Action-RPG. Everyone likes a game that can surprise everyone by seemingly coming out of nowhere, so perhaps Vampyr could be that game. If you're interested in checking out more on Vampyr, here's some screenshots, a trailer, and a 14-minute gameplay demo.
