Bethesda has given us a look at DOOM's multiplayers maps ahead of the 'Wolfenstein' closed beta for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC that is set to begin at the end of this month. The upcoming beta will feature the two of the game's nine maps: Heatwave and Infernal.
In addition to Heatwave and Infernal, the game will feature the following maps: Helix, Disposal, Chasm, Beneath, Perdition, Sacrilegious, and Excavation. Unfortunately, these maps have yet to be explored by players, but we can get a good look at them in the trailer above!
Each map will have distinct aesthetics, but will feature similar traits — for one, there are no sniping or hiding spots. In order to survive on each map, players will have to stay in constant motion. The maps have been designed for fast-paced brutal action, meaning staying in one place will have your re-spawning quite a bit. Bethesda has filled the maps with various hazards and items to help players.
DOOM is set to release on Friday, May 13 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
