Double Fine’s Headlander gets a brand new story trailer

Headlander is a goofy 70's Sci-Fi inspired action platformer in which you are the last flesh and blood human left in all of the world after humanity has transferred their minds into robotic bodies. This new robot utopia is ruled by a deranged computer, so you can probably imagine that things aren't exactly going all that well.

Here's an excerpt from the official description of the game:

You are the last known human in the universe, and all that's left of you is a disembodied head. Seeking clues to your fractured past, you must travel through a hostile world of machines, using a special helmet that allows you to dock into and take control of any robotic host body. As you launch from one body to the next, you'll start to discover that things are not quite what they appear to be, and the fate of humanity has yet to be decided…

Headlander is developed by Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts and Broken Age) and published by Adult Swim Games (Duck Game, Jazzpunk) and will be landing on both PlayStation 4 and PC on July 26th with all the head puns you can possibly handle.
