Double Fine’s The Cave may come to iOS

Double Fine's Ron Gilbert wants to bring the upcoming platform-adventure game The Cave to mobile devices.

"We are looking at touch-based platforms really, really closely," he told Eurogamer. "We haven't made a final call on it, but I do most of my gaming these days on my iPad and iPhone. Having it on those devices would be really, really great."

The Cave is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 in January. Right now, Double Fine is considering the technical limitations or obstacles involved in bringing the game to iOS.

"We're seriously looking at it," he said. "There's some technical issues. What we don't want to do is Cave Lite. It's got to be the full game."
