Since the dawn of PC gaming (well, near the dawn of it – maybe midmorning), gamers have been taking games apart, looking at the files and adding their own twist on things.
Generally speaking, this is called modding. When it comes to Skyrim, we know modding very well…You can make the game as beautiful as you want or replace every dragon with Thomas the Train or ponies from My Little Pony.
No PC game is safe, we must add our own twist and now it's time for Dragon Age: Inquisition to join the ranks of modded games. Gamers have been taking to the Inquisition forums and breaking down the game asset files and game save files with Warranty Voider a Mass Effect 3 modding tool and Ehamloptiran the Skyrim modding tool. The tools are currently only being used to view the files, but gamers are working on bringing modding to Inquisition.
Where there is a will, there is a way – right guys?
If you want to give them a hand or take a look at what they have been working on check out the forum here.
The crew doing the work does ask that you don't use the mods for "rule 34 work." This made me giggle.
