BioWare's eagerly awaited role-playing game, Dragon Age: Inquisition, will be available on October 7 in North America, publisher Electronic Arts announced today. It'll be released in Europe on October 10.
Coinciding with today's release date announcement was a new gameplay trailer that sheds some light on the Inquisition's story. Set in Thedas, a world being torn apart by a massive, mysterious breach in the sky, you assume the role of the Inquisitor, the lone survivor of a cataclysmic blast and the only one who can stop the demons terrorizing the land of Thedas.
“Our goal with Dragon Age: Inquisition is to usher in the next-generation of role playing games.” said Aaryn Flynn, General Manager of BioWare Edmonton and Montreal. “Players will experience the rich storylines and characters that they’ve come to expect from BioWare, in an expansive world with large open environments just begging to be explored.”
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
