Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F plays for a week in theaters, beats Dragonball Evolution sales

Let's pretend that 'other' film never happened.

Despite the extremely limited release of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', it's beating Dragonball Evolution in sales that saw a release in tons of theaters and was showing for a week more than Resurrection 'F'. The second DBZ film is showing in limited theaters from August 4th to August 12th, 2015.

As of yesterday — six days since release —  Resurrection 'F' has grossed a worldwide total of worldwide total of $58.29 million, while in its second two weeks Evolution's worldwide release grossed $57,497,699.

What does this show? Nothing really, besides the fact Resurrection 'F' is awesome! That and the fact that we pretend Evolution never released is kind of founded… Oh, and source material should not be ignored… Another thing, this Honest Trailers cover of Evolution is accurate.
