Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria coming to Wii U and 3DS next week

Knights, snowmen and other strange creatures abound in Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria, an RPG by Muteki Corporation with a retro aesthetic, dungeon and sea exploration, as well as phase shifting between 8-bit and 16-bit perspectives. It's also the latest in Choice Provisions' publishing endeavours and it's coming to the Wii U and 3DS on July 23, the team confirmed today.

The game will launch with a price point of $9.99 and a cross-buy promotion where you can essentially get both versions of the game for the same price. More developers have been making use of these special offers ever since Nintendo started the arrangement last year in Europe and later introduced it in North America. Curve Digital did so not long ago with OlliOlli, and Renegade Kid has arranged for the same to occur when Xeodrifter comes to Wii U on July 30.

Whether you explore dungeons on the go or navigate castles at home, Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria proposes to delight fans of classic RPGs. For now, this means fans in North America, but Choice Provisions says the game will be coming soon to Europe as well.
