Dragon Quest Heroes II coming to PS4, PS3 and Vita

In February, Square Enix released Dragon Quest Heroes in Japan and even though the release is still fresh, they are already pushing to bring Dragon Quest Heroes II to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and The PS Vita.

The reveal was made yesterday through the Dragon Quest Heroes promotional website, but as we well know, yesterday was April Fools' Day. In fear of the announcement being a joke, we waited (we wanted it to be real). The promo website had a bunch of little slimes inside of bubblewrap bubbles, ripe for popping.

Once all of the bubbles were popped an announcement for Dragon Quest Heroes II was revealed. The release date and price has yet to be revealed, but we do know who will be working on the game. The creator of Dragon Quest, Yuji Horii will be acting as the general director, Akira Toriyama (worked on Dragon Ball, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest) will be working on character design, and the longtime compoer for Dragon Quest, Koichi Sugiyama will be making a return.
