Dragon's Dogma has sold 1.05 million copies total, according to Capcom's April-June 2012 financial report.
The action-roleplaying game "exceeded expectations" in Japan but "struggled abroad."
To make the game, Capcom assembled the largest development team in its history as a publisher.
The company's net profits increased 300 percent to over $13 million for the April-June period. Total money made was about $185 million.
Capcom intends to turn Dragon's Dogma into a key franchise, and more content for the original game is coming soon.
