Dragon’s Lair: The Movie has turned to Kickstarter for help

Creators Don Bluth and Gary Goldman are coming together once to tackle a movie that they have been wanting to do for a long time. The 1983 classic Dragon’s Lair game might be getting an animated movie adaptation if all goes well with the Kickstarter.
Bluth and Goldman worked out some of the most treasured animated movies in history like The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go To Heaven and Anastasia. The point of the Kickstarter is to get enough money for them to create a teaser and come up with a pitch for potential investors. The project is asking for $550,000 to complete funding.

“The game has an extremely loyal fan base – now estimated to be in the millions and with each generation it has picked up even more fans. And after 30 years, the game continues to sell as an app for smart phones, smart tablets, and personal computers."

“The project that has given us the greatest recognition is actually that video arcade game known as Dragon’s Lair, created back in the early 1980s,”

If you want to see this movie come to life, head over to the Kickstarter page, plus there’s a bunch of awesome rewards for backing the project.
