Dreamfall Chapters exceeds Kickstarter target and gets stretch goals

The Kickstarter campaign for Dreamfall Chapters reached its target goal of $850,000 in one week, raising a little over $900,000 so far.

With plenty of time left, Red Thread Games quickly announced stretch goals in response to the extra funding, including support for Mac and Linux now in the works.

"At $950,000 we have The Loremaster," the latest update reads. "And at ONE MILLION DOLLARS we have A Longer Journey. We'll reveal more stretch goals as we go along — and we'll also reveal more exciting details about our ULTIMATE stretch goal, The Longest Journey Home."

The chart on the main page reveals that "The Loremaster" milestone involves an "in-game library, books, and lore," and "A Longer Journey" deals with "new locations, characters, and stories."

"The Longest Journey Home" stretch goal is far off at $2 million. Currently, 19 days remain for the campaign.
