Childhood obesity is no joke. It's a very real issue that one in three kids face in the United States. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and NFL Play 60 has teamed up with Kinect for Xbox 360 to create a program called "60 Million Minutes Challenge" which will encourage kids to get off the couch and get active for 60 minutes each day.
Xbox is counting on one million kids pledging to do so, which would result in 60 million minutes of active play, which will also go toward combating childhood obesity.
Kids who participate in the 60 Million Minutes Challenge will also be entered to win a "Social Autograph" from NFL stars like Jerry Rice, Amani Toomer and Drew Brees. This autograph will appear on the winners personal Facebook page. Not a bad deal at all. Not to mention you'll be friended by an NFL player on Facebook (if only for a limited time).
If you want to take part of this healthy challenge, head on over to the Official Facebook Page and help combat this very real threat.
