Driveclub received its latest patch, which introduced the Renault R.S. 01 supercar among a wealth of features, just two days ago, but developer Evolution Studios has already drawn up a new roadmap for the game’s future.
Evolution is, of course, working on new tracks and cars to keep up the flow of free and paid DLC, but also promises to answer the more nitty-gritty fan demands. As Community Manager Jamie Brayshaw wrote on the PlayStation Blog, fully customizable multiplayer lobbies, new difficulty options, community events, added photo mode options, drift tuning and “smarter” notifications are also in the pipes.
To celebrate the game’s success and its newfound heading, Evolution will be hosting a Double XP weekend starting today, Thursday, August 20, through Monday, August 24. Doubled experience is applied to any activities completed using any of the cars from this gallery.
