Driveclub drops in price, brings weekly free maps

Free stuff and lower prices are always nice.

If you own Driveclub on the PlayStation 4, you have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Starting today, the racing game will be getting new Sprint mode tracks every week until December 25th and it will be getting a "big" update in October.

Today, Evolution Studios has made both Nilgiri Hills (India) and Taapaca (Chile) sprint tracks available to Driveclub owners.

Unfortunately, both Sprint mode tracks will not be available on the PS Plus Edition, only the Nilgiri Hills tracks will be. If this is a problem for you (or maybe the fact that no extra content is on the PS Plus Edition), you're in luck — the game itself has gone down quite a bit in price on the PlayStation Network. The game itself is down to $14.99 on PSN and the Season Pass is now $12.99 – which isn't too bad! As for the content of October's update, well, that hasn't been detailed as of yet. Game Director Paul Rustchynsky has promised more details in the future.
