Paul Rustchynsky, the Director of Driveclub, has announced that the PlayStation 4 exclusive racing game has officially sold over 2 million units since launch.
After a shaky release riddled with bugs and online issues that also caused the delay of the game's PS Plus Edition, Driveclub has righted the ship. Rustchynsky made the announcement yesterday morning on Twitter and stated that although he could not get into further details, the 2 million units sold landmark was reached before the release of Driveclub's free PS Plus Edition.
The PS Plus Edition has been playing well for users as no reported major issues have arisen so far. The private lobbies are still a ways out but the game's studio has indicated they will be available soon. Both the full game and the free PS Plus Edition are available now on the PlayStation store for all PS4 users to enjoy.
